Can we impeach this bastard?

I am so sick of Governor Corzine he has only been in office about 100 days and so far he has raised sales tax in NJ, cut higher education budgets, talked about putting sales tax on clothes, taxing health club memberships, and now this fucking bastard is talking about lowering the speed limit to 55 MPH and changing NJ gas stations to self-serve to save a few cents on gas. This is absolutely ridiculous! First this would never lower the cost of gas, get real people. Anyone who thinks that it will work obviously does not live in NJ or reality for that matter. This guy NEEDS TO GO. Why are we taking this, get this man out of office he sucks ass. I'm not a political person at all but this is turning me into a political activist.

In honor of this clown I have created new t-shirt designs.

Corzi da Clown: How'd NJ get so lucky?

Yes! I fucked NJ again!

What happened to the days of 90210

I am so disappointed with the OC, when it first started I was hoping it would be my replacement for Beverly Hills 90210 (I loved that show).

Let's face it The OC is a poor man's 90210, Marissa has a coke problem for a day, Kelly was coked out for almost a wholw season, another example Seth starts smoking weed for a day, remember when David Silver was high on Crystal Meth? It just dosn't compare.

Anyway this week I was once again highly disappointed, Teresa is seen in the airport by Kirstin with a baby and Ryan of course assumes it's his, but when she comes to his house the first words out of her mouth are he's not yours. And this dumb ass believes her, doesn't question it, doesn't ask for prove of the parternity test...ugh...it is so annoying. And then the whole Seth & Summer crap is so STUPID, and yet I keep watching hoping it will get better. Where the hell did they get these writers? If i was writing for that show it would be the best show on TV, people want real drama that lasts a little longer then 5 minutes and then everything is fine...WTF!

Monica's B-Day Celebration

Last Friday a group of us went out to dinner at Teak in Red Bank to celebrate Monica's 29th B-day and then did some bar hopping. Red Bank is a fabulous place to bar hop! It was so much fun :)

We also ran into my old co-workers from my good old Argos days :)

Pretty soon they are going to tax the air we breathe

OK NJ what the hell is up? This bastard governor Corzine is increasing our taxes left and right and we just sit back and accept it. What the fuck is wrong with us? We live in AMERICA we can fight and oppose anything we want to. So the sales tax is going up to 7% and there has been talk of this jerk putting sales tax on clothes too, but now he is considering taxing health club memberships.

Fight Gov. Corzine's Proposal to Tax Health Club Memberships
As part of his proposed budget for New Jersey's next fiscal year, Governor Jon Corzine wants the government to start taxing health club memberships. Take action today and tell the Governor that it is not right to tax healthy lifestyles. His proposal also seeks to increase the sales tax from 6% to 7%. The Governor's proposal sends the wrong message to the citizens of New Jersey. The government should be working to encourage physical activity and healthy eating. Instead, the proposal to create a sales tax on health club memberships could discourage people from joining or remaining members- especially low-income families, which are the hardest hit by sales tax. IHRSA and its lobbyists are working diligently to fight this proposal, but legislators want to hear directly from their constituents. So please take just a few minutes to Exercise Your Rights and tell the New Jersey legislature not to tax health club memberships.Click the following link to take action on this issue.http://votervoice.net/Groups/IHRSA/?Screen=Alert&IssueID=7101

This is absolutely ridiculous! Why would anyone want to stay in Jersey with all these taxes? It is hard enough as it is for a single person who makes a decent salary to afford to live here, let alone buy any real estate. If this shit keeps up I’m moving out, who needs this?

Doggie T's

OK I wish I had a dog just so I could dress it up in cute little doggie outfits. My friend Lynare asked me to make her this doggie t-shirt for her cute little shitzu Bogart. So as requested I made a 'Bitches Love Me' dog t-shirt and it came out so good.
Look at how F-ing cute!

Blockbuster to Fight Netflix Lawsuit

DALLAS (AP) - Blockbuster Inc. on Thursday said it plans to fight a lawsuit from online movie-rental service Netflix Inc., saying the company's patent-infringement claims are "without merit."
On Tuesday, Netflix sued Blockbuster in Northern California and asked a federal judge to shut down the company's online rental service on the grounds it violates two of Netflix's patents protecting how subscribers create a list of desired movies and receive a certain number of them at a time.
Netflix's lawsuit singled out Blockbuster despite similar online services sprouting at other companies, such as Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Blockbuster, the nation's biggest movie-rental chain, had about 1.2 million subscribers to its online service by the end of 2005, according to the company. Users can browse an online DVD library and are mailed the next film on their lists when a previous one is returned.
Shares of Blockbuster rose 16 cents, or 4.2 percent, to $3.97 on the New York Stock Exchange, while Netflix fell 18 cents to $28.48 on the Nasdaq.

All I have to say, is how jealous is Blockbuster? They can't stand the fact that Netflix and OnDemand are putting them out of business. Blockbuster sucks anyway I remember back in the day, before the fabulous Netflix, they never had any of the new releases or independent films. Netflix rules I hope Blockbuster loses their case!

I have serious issues

ok, so it is 11:58 pm on Wednesday evening and when I should be in bed trying to sleep I'm up on the computer AGAIN. So last night I had another insomnia incident, I was so tired so I went to bed at 9:30 and guess what I could not fall asleep at all until like after midnight! and then of course I overslept and was late to work, AGAIN. WTF, this is insane I have issues. You know that commercial for the sleep medication where they say "can't turn off your restless mind?" that is me, I don't even know what the heck I'm thinking about. I have to be stressed and not realize it. So tonight I decided to take a different approach, I decided I would stay up until I can't take it anymore. So until i pass out on my keyboard I will sit and stalk... opps... i mean browse the internet.

Time change = insomnia

As if I don't have enough problems sleeping already we are suddenly hit with daylight savings time. Don't get me wrong I love the fact that it will still be light out at 7pm now, but it is a rough adjustment for me. Not only was it Monday we had to lose an hour yesterday, so even though I got into bed at 10pm watched Grey's Anatomy and feel asleep soon after 11pm while watching the Flavor of Love reunion special on VH1, I slept like shit. I woke up almost every hour, I don't know if I am sick of going to work, screwed up because of DST, or if I have another issue.
Here it is 11:40pm and I am still sitting on the computer, no wonder I can't sleep. I need to put my ass to bed now! Hopefully tonight will be much better for me.

MySpace Stalker

I have to admit sometimes late at night when I should be trying to sleep I become a MySpace Stalker, luckily this does not happen to me all the time, but when it does, three hours can go by without me blinking. What is up with that? You click on one profile that leads you to another and suddenly you find someone you have not seen in over 10 years.... At least I know I am not the only one, I would have never left my computer if this existed when I was a teenager :)

For all you myspace stalkers out there, this design is for you:
Available on T-shirts, Buttons, Magents, Stickers, and more....

Can't Take the Heat, Get out of the office....

I have to say that I am a little embarrassed for my actions early this week. I actually got into an argument with a girl that sits next to me at work over the air-conditioning. First of all let me explain the situation. We are in the process of moving into a new office, however we did not get our temporary C-O. Therefore we lost the lease on our old space due to poor project management (but that's another story) so we have about 50 people crammed into a temporary office, working wherever there is a flat surface and a network connection. So with all the people in a tight space it tends to get extremely hot in there especially if the heat is on. So on Monday it was so fucking hot in there I was dying, I get up to look at the thermostat and it is like 80 degrees and the heat is on! I was wearing a sweater and I wanted to rip it off my body, unfortunately I can't sit at my desk in a tank top with a pink bar on underneath. So I complain it is hot and go to put the AC on, this bitch sitting next to me says..."We are only going to leave it one for a little bit cause I am cold". I was like 'whatever'. So it is not cool in there yet and she turns the AC off, I turn it back on, she turns it off again - What the fuck? This happened 3 times and finally I say to her, "Are you messing with me on purpose?" She looks at me all shocked, like what are you talking about? So I tell her "it's hot in here, I'm about to take my shirt off I'm dying , you can put you coat on if you are cold." Then she starts complaining that she is sick and she has a temperature and the AC is blowing on her neck. So I told her to go home if she is sick and she starts yelling "don't you tell me what to do I have work to do!" so you know I started yelling right back and she was like don't raise you voice at me, and kept fighting with me over the AC. She would not drop it, finally I said "Screw you I don't need this, I'm trying to work". Needless to say she still wanted to argue with me, if I was not at work I would of drop-kicked her ass. So I went to my manager and had my seat moved. Not only can I not stand that bitch, it is really hot in there and I am a person that likes the heat and is always cold, so if I was hot it is hot in there! Now I tried to be the better more mature person and apologize, but she ignored me....oh well....it was pretty funny everyone at work was loving it, even I was laughing as she is getting so mad at me.

Tea

I love tea, hot tea, iced tea....you name it. Today at lunch I went to Whole Foods and got a bottle of Honest Tea and they have sayings on the inside of the lid like Snapple. My lid today said "Tea was introduced to Europe in the mid-1600's. By the 1700's, it had replaced beer as the beverage of choice at breakfast." WOW! I must say I would perfer tea to beer at breakfast too :)

Belmar Parade

Today was the St. Patrick's Day parade in Belmar, NJ.

Although it was a bit nippy outside we walked from my house to 8th and Main St and headed right into the bar. I saw about 5 minutes of the parade, but more importantly I got my picture taken with Guinness!

It was a ton of fun everyone was sporting thier Chaotic Couture St. Patty's Day t-shirts which came out super cute!

Is that Abe Lincoln?

Boy can that Guinness Party!

Oh and mad props to the matching minks! Not everyone could pull that look off!

Are you really surprised?

I just saw this article on MSN - it says that America is more familiar with the Simpsons than First Amendment.

CHICAGO - Americans apparently know more about “The Simpsons” than they do about the First Amendment.
Only one in four Americans can name more than one of the five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment.
But more than half can name at least two members of the cartoon family, according to a survey. The study by the new McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum found that 22 percent of Americans could name all five Simpson family members, compared with just one in 1,000 people who could name all five First Amendment freedoms. Joe Madeira, director of exhibitions at the museum, said he was surprised by the results.
“Part of the survey really shows there are misconceptions, and part of our mission is to clear up these misconceptions,” said Madeira, whose museum will be dedicated to helping visitors understand the First Amendment when it opens in April. “It means we have our job cut out for us.”
The survey found more people could name the three “American Idol” judges than identify three First Amendment rights. They were also more likely to remember popular advertising slogans.
It also showed that people misidentified First Amendment rights. About one in five people thought the right to own a pet was protected, and 38 percent said they believed the right against self-incrimination contained in the Fifth Amendment was a First Amendment right, the survey found.
The telephone survey of 1,000 adults was conducted Jan. 20-22 by the research firm Synovate and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Are you really surprised, I'm not we Americans know more about pop-culture and celebrity gossip then actual world events. I don't know if I know all the ammendments, I would have to look them up....they are freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly and petition for redress of grievances.

He went from totally geek to totally chic!

If you need proof that what your mother always told you about the geeky guys in High School. Patrick Dempsey is pure proof. How hot is Dr. Derek Shepherd, or as my friend Kim calls him Dr. McDreamy, on one of the best shows ever - Grey's Anatomy? OMG, he is hot and if you remember way back in 1987 he did a little classic 80's film called Can't Buy Me Love.

He went from totally geek to totally chic!

Business travel, I guess it could be worse

I have been in beautiful Orange County, CA - that’s right the OC, since Tuesday evening. The worse thing about being in a place like this when it is 80 degrees in February is the fact that I actually have to go into an office and do work. I barely get to see the daylight when I run out to grab lunch at the deli around the corner. What made this trip even better was that when we landed on Tuesday around 8 pm we had a few mishaps. First me and my boss went to eat a Benihana, the waitress must have screwed up my order because as I sat there and the cook put shrimp and veggies on my plate all I got was fried rice, when I asked him where my scallops were he started arguing with me that I only ordered fried rice. Who goes to Benihana and just gets fried rice? So that was resolved and I got my meal. Then we go to check into our hotel the Ayres in Costa Mesa and they inform us that a pipe bust in one wing of the hotel and they have to relocate 13 reservations (including ours) to another location. Of course every hotel is booked except the La Quinta Inn.
When we ask is it a nice place and the guy at the desk replied “Not as nice as here” I should have known better. So we go to the inn which turns out to look like a motor lodge on the side of the freeway next to a Hooters, I say “This looks like a place where serial killers hang out!” I was so exhausted at this point it was around 12 am NJ time that I settled. But after getting into my room I was very disgusted and scared. My room was on ground level and the dark curtains would not close, so I was imagining that people walking around the hotel could see me lying in bed by myself and might try to break in. So after making sure the door was secure I put my suitcase in front of it and then contemplated moving the desk, but decided it was probably nailed to the wall. So I laid down and had a very shitty night’s sleep. Needless to say the next morning I packed everything up and left that flea bag motel, found a room at the Hilton and alls good. I was never so happy to see a Starbucks in my hotel like yesterday.

Low Carb?

Is hollowing out a bagel really considered ‘low carb’? I think not.

I see a ton of people at my office do this every week. Friday in my office is “Bagel Day” the company actually buys us bagels and muffins, which is very nice. The bagels are huge and if you eat a whole one you may think twice about going out for lunch. But anyway, so every Friday there are some people who stand over the trash can ripping the insides of their bagels out, but they still will put butter or cream cheese on it, I guess they are thinking in their head that this counts as lower carbs. Maybe it does but if you are watching your weight why not have half a bagel with the cream cheese/butter and enjoy the carbs? I don’t get it…. I say either eat it in moderation or do without.

Bubble Pop Electric?

So I love Gwen Stefani, she is my idol, but as I sit here listening to my iTunes, I wonder does this song mean what I think it does or should I get my mind out of the gutter right now? I sounds to me Gwen is going to get lucky in the back seat tonight, which is great, but I wonder if the 8 year old girls out there singing along to this song know what she is talking about...

She says..."You might wanna hurry because tonight is the night
I'm empty I need fulfilling yes I do love
To the ceiling when I do love
I get this feeling when I'm in Love
I'm restless can't you see I try my bestest
To be good girl because it's just us
So take me now and do me justice
I'm waiting patiently
Anticipating your arrival
And I'm hating
It takes so long to get to my house
To take me outTonight I'm gonna give you all my love in the back seat
BUBBLE POP ELECTRIC
Gonna speed it down and slow it up in the back seat
BUBBLE POP ELECTRIC Uh-O in the back seat" .... there is more you can read all the lyrics here: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/gwenstefani/bubblepopelectric.html
