MySpace Stalker

I have to admit sometimes late at night when I should be trying to sleep I become a MySpace Stalker, luckily this does not happen to me all the time, but when it does, three hours can go by without me blinking. What is up with that? You click on one profile that leads you to another and suddenly you find someone you have not seen in over 10 years.... At least I know I am not the only one, I would have never left my computer if this existed when I was a teenager :)

For all you myspace stalkers out there, this design is for you:
Available on T-shirts, Buttons, Magents, Stickers, and more....

Can't Take the Heat, Get out of the office....

I have to say that I am a little embarrassed for my actions early this week. I actually got into an argument with a girl that sits next to me at work over the air-conditioning. First of all let me explain the situation. We are in the process of moving into a new office, however we did not get our temporary C-O. Therefore we lost the lease on our old space due to poor project management (but that's another story) so we have about 50 people crammed into a temporary office, working wherever there is a flat surface and a network connection. So with all the people in a tight space it tends to get extremely hot in there especially if the heat is on. So on Monday it was so fucking hot in there I was dying, I get up to look at the thermostat and it is like 80 degrees and the heat is on! I was wearing a sweater and I wanted to rip it off my body, unfortunately I can't sit at my desk in a tank top with a pink bar on underneath. So I complain it is hot and go to put the AC on, this bitch sitting next to me says..."We are only going to leave it one for a little bit cause I am cold". I was like 'whatever'. So it is not cool in there yet and she turns the AC off, I turn it back on, she turns it off again - What the fuck? This happened 3 times and finally I say to her, "Are you messing with me on purpose?" She looks at me all shocked, like what are you talking about? So I tell her "it's hot in here, I'm about to take my shirt off I'm dying , you can put you coat on if you are cold." Then she starts complaining that she is sick and she has a temperature and the AC is blowing on her neck. So I told her to go home if she is sick and she starts yelling "don't you tell me what to do I have work to do!" so you know I started yelling right back and she was like don't raise you voice at me, and kept fighting with me over the AC. She would not drop it, finally I said "Screw you I don't need this, I'm trying to work". Needless to say she still wanted to argue with me, if I was not at work I would of drop-kicked her ass. So I went to my manager and had my seat moved. Not only can I not stand that bitch, it is really hot in there and I am a person that likes the heat and is always cold, so if I was hot it is hot in there! Now I tried to be the better more mature person and apologize, but she ignored me....oh well....it was pretty funny everyone at work was loving it, even I was laughing as she is getting so mad at me.

Tea

I love tea, hot tea, iced tea....you name it. Today at lunch I went to Whole Foods and got a bottle of Honest Tea and they have sayings on the inside of the lid like Snapple. My lid today said "Tea was introduced to Europe in the mid-1600's. By the 1700's, it had replaced beer as the beverage of choice at breakfast." WOW! I must say I would perfer tea to beer at breakfast too :)

Belmar Parade

Today was the St. Patrick's Day parade in Belmar, NJ.

Although it was a bit nippy outside we walked from my house to 8th and Main St and headed right into the bar. I saw about 5 minutes of the parade, but more importantly I got my picture taken with Guinness!

It was a ton of fun everyone was sporting thier Chaotic Couture St. Patty's Day t-shirts which came out super cute!

Is that Abe Lincoln?

Boy can that Guinness Party!

Oh and mad props to the matching minks! Not everyone could pull that look off!

Are you really surprised?

I just saw this article on MSN - it says that America is more familiar with the Simpsons than First Amendment.

CHICAGO - Americans apparently know more about “The Simpsons” than they do about the First Amendment.
Only one in four Americans can name more than one of the five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment.
But more than half can name at least two members of the cartoon family, according to a survey. The study by the new McCormick Tribune Freedom Museum found that 22 percent of Americans could name all five Simpson family members, compared with just one in 1,000 people who could name all five First Amendment freedoms. Joe Madeira, director of exhibitions at the museum, said he was surprised by the results.
“Part of the survey really shows there are misconceptions, and part of our mission is to clear up these misconceptions,” said Madeira, whose museum will be dedicated to helping visitors understand the First Amendment when it opens in April. “It means we have our job cut out for us.”
The survey found more people could name the three “American Idol” judges than identify three First Amendment rights. They were also more likely to remember popular advertising slogans.
It also showed that people misidentified First Amendment rights. About one in five people thought the right to own a pet was protected, and 38 percent said they believed the right against self-incrimination contained in the Fifth Amendment was a First Amendment right, the survey found.
The telephone survey of 1,000 adults was conducted Jan. 20-22 by the research firm Synovate and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

Are you really surprised, I'm not we Americans know more about pop-culture and celebrity gossip then actual world events. I don't know if I know all the ammendments, I would have to look them up....they are freedom of speech, religion, press, assembly and petition for redress of grievances.
